“Kai…here! Wait!!! Noooooo!!!!…..Alamak!!!”

Yep, that pretty much sums up my performance during the recent trials. It was our maiden attempt in this SKC’s 1st Open Agility & Jumpers category and no qualification for us this time round. With 16 obstacles in place, the space became a constrain and angles were tight. It was a good challenge for both of us though, unfortunately K was not up to it! Here you go airhead!

But hey…all is not lost. Being a philanthropist and a good K9 citizen, we managed to tan some chiak in the fun event and contributed our winnings to SPCA.

I would also like to extend my big thanks to CK for taking many great shots of us during the past few events. You always make me look real cool and handsome. 🙂

My pal, Kenai have been re-homed to a Taiwanese couple. I must say, we are kinda saddened by his departure. K, at this point in time is still reluctant to stash away his bowl and bed. Guess, that’s the way it is. All the best my pal, we’re gonna miss you!

Kenai January 16, 2008

So this is Kenai, my new band of brothers for the time being. This poor lad was shone away by the darn owners because they simply got tired of her. So K agreed to foster for a week while Anderson tries to re-home him. I must say i am getting pretty fine with this young chap. Initiates play with him all the time while K is away, helps me kills my boredom, if you know what i mean 😉 He’s pretty smart boy too. With good clicker training like i had, Kenai is getting the hang of us K9 commands like sit, down, away, come.

Introducing, Kenai

Breed: White Poodle; Miniature

Age: 9 months

Gender: Male

Height: 12″ or so

Intelligent: What can i say…

Handsome: Ain’t it obvious

Right, so this is kinda incongruous of me. But, hey, who’s gonna put food into my bowl? So, we decided for the second time, to “Tan Chiak” and take part in the Companion Dog Show since K had only registered us for both the Open Agility & Jumpers category for this coming Sunday’s SKC trials.
